Ketch Wehr is a New York-based artist with a flair for the feral.
In addition to painting custom pet portraits, he works in an array of creative fields. His art work focuses on anthropomorphism, the sociology of bestiaries, and queer and gender nonconforming histories. Much of his work leans towards illustrative realism, and Ketch’s undying love of animals and wildness seeps into much of what he does.
Ketch studied fine art at Smith College and currently works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer in Manhattan.
